Pebbles Afterschool is a private School Age Childcare service operating 50 weeks of the year, based at Athenry Football Club in Moanbaun, Co. Galway.

Meet Therese
At Pebbles After-School Care, your child's safety, happiness and wellbeing come first. Founder and CEO Therese O'Mahony brings over 20 years of experience working with children and families through childcare programmes, children's activity camps, and leisure centre and swimming pool management.
Therese has dedicated her career to creating safe, welcoming and inclusive environments where children can learn, play and thrive. She holds a BA in Sports & Leisure Management and has led many initiatives at both local and national level promoting children's health, wellbeing and social inclusion.
Parents can feel confident knowing Therese has achieved the NQS Gold Standard award for 10 consecutive years, reflecting excellence in Health & Safety, Customer Care, HR, Training and Hygiene Maintenance.
Her hands-on experience includes delivering a swimming lesson programme to over 1,000 children each week, giving her a deep understanding of how to support children's development while building trust with families.
As a proud member of Athenry Football Club, where her daughters played for many years at juvenile level, Therese is passionate about building connected, caring communities and encouraging happy, healthy lifestyles for children.
